BHARATH COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND MANAGEMENT was sponsored in July 2000 by K.NADIMUTHU MEMORIAL EDUCATION TRUST, Which is registered under the Indian Trust Act and established by an Educationalist Shri.N.Ganesan., M.Com., M.Phil., (Ph.D.,) Managing Director, Indian Institute of Catering Technology and Hotel Management (IICTHM), Thanjavur, which is premier institute first of its kind in 1993 in Thanjavur and in southern part of Tamilnadu.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CATERING TECHNOLOGY AND HOTEL MANAGEMENTtrains young people through intensive coaching are regular industrial exposure for the immediate placement or self employment. This institute has proved its importance by providing 100% placement to all students who have students who have studied in this institution since its inception.

BHARATH COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND MANAGEMENT, a sister institute of Indian Institution of Catering Technology & Hotel Management, Thanjavur was established with the object of providing education to the youths in promising areas of software, health and management, enabling them to become entrepreneurs or to seek jobs in Indian and Multinational companies as well in Government officers. The institution offers 1 diploma, 11 UG, 5 PG and 2 PG Diploma programmes. It also awaits affiliation from Bharathidasan University for 2 UG Programmes B.Sc. Physics and B.Sc Mathematics, 2 PG programmes M.Sc Fashion Technology and Costume Design and M.Sc. Electronic Media, 2 Research programmes – M.Phil in Bio-Technology and M.Phil Food Service Management and Dietetics during this academic year 2005-2006.

BHARATH COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND DESIGN, a Unit of Bharath College of Science and Management, was initiated with the primary object of education the youths in the fast developing areas of fashion technology and costume design. This institute has designed the course at an affordable fee structure to meet out the growing needs for them in reputed garment making units and to make them self-employed.

BHARATH COLLEGE OF CATERING TECHNOLOGY AND HOTEL MANAGEMENT is a unit of Bharath College of Science and Management under the approval Bharathidasan University meeting out the world wide demand for qualified and well-trained hospitality professionals due to the rapid growth of Travel and Tourism Industry in recent years. The main objective of this institution is to train persons in catering and Hotel Management trades by providing self-employment guidance.
